I recently had the chance to stay at Schloss, and I must say it offers a reasonable balance between luxury and value. Nestled amidst serene countryside, the property feels like a retreat where nature and comfort coexist. Visiting in summer raised our concerns about the lack of air conditioning, but the cooling morning breeze did wonders-keeping the room fresh and inviting with the windows open. A pleasant surprise was the helpfulness of the staff; they graciously waited for us beyond check-in time when we lost our way. The natural environment is perfect for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling, and the hotel caters well to families with its children's play area. We appreciated the free Wi-Fi and complimentary parking, which added to our convenience. While we didn't indulge in the restaurant's offerings, we learned that it serves special diet menus and has a children's menu, which seems handy for family gatherings or weddings, making it a versatile venue for events. Schloss blends rustic charm with thoughtful amenities, making it a prudent choice for both relaxation and adventure.
